What is ambulatory transportation?

Ambulatory transportation is for riders who can walk with support or use a mobility aid such as a cane or walker. The rider may still need extra time or door-to-door coordination.

What is wheelchair transportation?

Wheelchair transportation is for riders who use a wheelchair and need a vehicle and ride plan that can support that mobility need.

What should families share?

Tell the transportation team whether the rider can transfer, uses a wheelchair, needs a companion, has stairs or access notes, and whether the trip is one-way or round trip.
